Kathryn Odrich-Damalie
We chose Kathryn because she acts outside of school at a Drama club and she is a female and we wanted to target our film at both boys and girls and including girls as the protagonists will help this. She is also of dark skin tone which defies stereotypes as characters that are not white are usually portrayed as the antagonist.
Skylar Brady
We chose Skylar because she is a female and we wanted to target our film at both boys and girls and including girls as the protagonists will help this. She is also a white female and will appeal to audiences as white is seen as the dominant race and stereotypically white people are seen with more power in films/
Alex Best
We chose Alex because he is a member of our group and we were supposed to use another member that we casted but they dropped out at the last minute. He is a white male who is seen dead and due to stereotypes, the audience will feel sympathy for him
Harry Sanger
We chose Harry because he is a member of our group and we were supposed to use another member that we casted but they dropped out at the last minute. He is a strong tall white male and portrays a good antagonist in the film.
